About the Founder

Lynn Karam, MBA, EA

Our founder and CEO Lynn Karam is a seasoned professional with more than 17 years of experience. She works with her clients to formulate strategies on economic forecasting, cost control, and risk management. As a result of her astute guidance, they have seen their companies become prosperous by overcoming financial challenges and generating significant savings.

Prior to starting LEK Management, Inc., Lynn spent 12 years of working at several Fortune 500 companies, including Merrill Lynch, UBS Financial Services Inc., Deloitte & Touche, and Edward Jones. She held positions in the areas of treasury and cash management, fixed income securities, business consulting and personal finance.

Educational Background

Lynn has taken her skills and expertise to the classroom. Her focus is to help people improve their business ownership.

She taught the Certificate Program in Entrepreneurship at Lehman’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Lynn manages the Finance and Business Program that offers certificate and licensing programs to approximately 200 students every year. She is also in charge of a construction management program for the federally funded Small Business Development Center.

Lynn got her MBA degree in finance at Baruch College and her bachelor’s degree in managerial finance at the University of Mississippi. She is an enrolled agent that holds an NYS Life and Health Insurance License. Lynn previously acquired Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Positions Held

Lynn is currently active in her community as a board member for two Bronx-based non-profit organizations. From 2009 to 2015, Lynn was a member of Rotary International and served as an Assistant Governor for District 7230. She served two terms as the President of the Rotary Club of Mount Vernon.
